A scout beret or a four-cornered cap? What kind of headgear to choose when we think about a new scout team, or about changing the current solution. Contrary to appearances, these are not all choices possible. We have several more solutions at our disposal that will not be any less traditional.

So what can each scout wear on his head with his scout uniform?

Scout beret

The first and one of the most popular solutions will be a scout beret. It has many color options. Easy size adjustment and a wide range of sizes make it a classic solution. Additionally, its price makes it on of the the most common choices. It fits perfectly and looks brilliant.

Four-cornered cap

Another type of headgear that we have already mentioned is, of course, the four-cornered cap. Green for boys and gray for girls. It looks very good and well sewn. The four-cornered cap is of course a reference to Polish traditions. It is a bit more expensive than a regular beret, but it looks great.

Forage caps, baseball caps, scout hats

Other headgear ideas for scouting teams will be soft, brimmed hats. They are very functional. They protect against rain and sun. The brim can be freely modified thanks to press studs that allow you to pin the roundabout.

It is also worth taking a look at the forage caps. This is another headgear that has its origins in the army and was successfully taken over by scouts. The small forage cap will fit in almost any pocket. It looks good on the head. However, it is worth taking a larger size than you usually wear.

The most expensive but also the best covering will be a scout hat. The felt hat is all stiff. Perfect for teams where tradition is of great importance - such a hat was worn by the founder of scouting himself.

In the case of cub scouts, we can also choose other solutions such as baseball caps. They are very practical and look awesome. They are easy to adjust, and additionally they can be useful not only at a meeting or camping - you can easily wear them every day.
